For lighting building interiors, it is often important to take into account the colour temperature of the lights used. For example, a warmer (i.e., lower colour temperature) light is often used in public areas to promote relaxation, while a cooler (higher colour temperature) light is used to enhance concentration in offices. All of our lamps are available in both "Day White" and "Warm White" options. The table below gives an overview of colour temperature.

On the colour temperature scale our Warm White LED lamps are rated at 2700k and compare closely to standard halogens at around 3000k. Day White LED lamps rated at approx 4000k give a more "clinical" and "high tech" feel to a lighting scheme. Many ranges also include red, green, blue and yellow colour options which are ideal for display and feature lighting.
